The Multiverse of Rescue Chronicles: Words and Fragments, Understanding the Past
This week, the new spin-off of *Crónicas del Salvamento*, called *Palabras y Fragmentos*, was released. This new series brings a fresh take on content but maintains its essence with the cast that defines it.
This new series, as stated in its introduction, will focus on something the audience requested: concepts and understanding of the topics discussed. With this in mind, the producers of *Crónicas del Salvamento* expanded the multiverse of archaeology and took it back to its essence, to the basics. In an interview with the series' protagonist, who requested anonymity, the foundation of something, of history, begins with words and their fragments. From there, the protagonist continues, before light, first came the word, and light was merely its fragment.
Pre-Hispanic Chronology: A Brief Introduction to Understanding Mexico's Past
As stated in an ancient article, the history of Mexico is divided into five periods: the pre-Hispanic period, the colonial period, the Independent Mexico period, the Reform period, and finally, Contemporary Mexico.
However, in a turn of events, the producers and writers of this new series proposed to direct their attention to the pre-Hispanic period, starting from the Preclassic, moving through the Classic, and concluding with the Postclassic.
Without a doubt, this new proposal expands even further the fascinating multiverse of archaeology, helping us better understand both the past and the present. And who knows, maybe both universes will merge in the future. Indeed, this new proposal is cinema.
